Obě řady pro čtyřruční klavír i v orchestrální verzi, kterou Dvořák záhy pořídil, se staly jeho nejpopulárnějšími skladbami. Nové vydání obou řad vychází ze Souborného vydání děl Antonína Dvořáka. Editor Jarmil Burghauser zvolil jako hlavní pramen první tisk, který byl porovnán s autografem, a podstatnější odchylky vyznačil ve vydavatelské zprávě.
