Jeden oznamoval, že P/O Leonard Smrček, radiotelegrafista Wellingtonu Mk.IC T2990 (KX-T), je od 23. června 1941 nezvěstný z náletu na Brémy, a druhý, že F/O Karel Novotný, pilot Liberátoru GR.Mk.V BZ717 (L), zahynul 19. července 1944 při návratu z protiponorkové hlídky, když jejich letoun narazil v mlze do kopce v Marlborough Village poblíž letiště Bold Head v hrabství Devon.
