Ich konzentriere mich dabei vornehmlich auf Urtikas Werk und versuche, die historischen Konsequenzen und die Kontexte durch eine vom historischen Standpunkt ausgehende Untersuchung aufzudecken. In der vorliegenden Arbeit werden die Ergebnisse einer zweijährigen Untersuchung zur Chronik Urtikas dargelegt, die sich in wesentlichen Teilen auf die Auswertung von bislang noch nicht oder nur unzureichend erschlossenem Quellenmaterial fußen.
