Based on period documents and photography, the book maps in detail the development of Czech non-university sciences from the 18th century when the Society of Unknown Scholars in the Austrian Lands was founded in Olomouc. Považujeme za nutné zkvalitnit profesní připravenost osob pro pomáhající profese ve vztahu k lidské sexualitě v rovině znalostní i odborně didaktické, neboť výsledky výzkumu prokázaly respondenty vnímanou nedostatečnou profesní připravenost. The publication expands the researched issue of helping professions in relation to sexuality with the topic of the individual\'s personality and his attitude to sexuality in the context of the need for readiness for professional practice. It is scientifically focused on research into attitudes, beliefs and values related to human sexuality, including people with mental disabilities, from the perspective of representatives of the helping professions. The topic is supported by opinions on communication problems on sexual issues in general, as well as opinions on abilities and skills to discuss and pass on information in the field of human sexuality, including people with mental disabilities. We consider it necessary to improve the professional readiness of persons for helping professions in relation to human sexuality in the level of knowledge and professional didactics, because the results of the research showed the respondents perceived insufficient professional readiness. The current publication by author Vojtěch Pokorný takes as its subject not only the history of the oldest Christian sacred building in the Prague neighbourhood of Dejvice, but equally the past of the locality itself, starting from its first known settlement in late Neolithic times up to the present. Using a wide range of literature and sources, the author presents a truthful account of the oft-mythicised tales of the earliest traces of human presence in Upper Šárka and the founding of the church consecrated to St. Matthew, and in chronological succession relates the events transpiring there across the following centuries. Research into the dynamics of landform evolution in the East Nepal Himalaya is intended to provide knowledge of the long-term integrity of climate-driven morphogenetic and tectonic processes as an essential phenomenon of active collisional orogeny. Landform patterns of the Makalu Barun area in the Himalaya are the result of orogenetic processes, as well as the denudation and erosional efficiency under very variable palaeoclimatic conditions during the late Cenozoic. The observed landform changes in the region between the Chomolongma and Makalu Massifs and the Sapt Kosi lowland on a decadal scale indicate the high intensity of morphogenetic processes, especially very effective erosion and transport of weathered material by a combination of diverse exogenic factors, integrated with active orogenetic processes.
