Proto stojí za to věnovat pozornost i této knize. Pokud totiž nezastáváme zcestnou tezi, že o současném pontifikátu se nesmí říci nic kritického. Pak tedy musíme uvítat kultivovanou a neemotivní podobu Lawlerova textu, který mapuje slova a události, dává je do souvislosti a do kontextu, ale nenutí čtenáře, aby přijal nějaké prefabrikované rozhodnutí či zaujal nějaký žádoucí postoj. Nechává na čtenáři, aby si věc promyslel a udělal si názor sám.
