V básníkových textech rovněž zaznívá i akcent životního bilancování a předtucha smrti, kterou autor nechápe jako destruktivní sílu, ale jako naprosto přirozenou součást koloběhu života.

Obrazová publikace představuje toto dílo ve výběru a s komentářem znalce Reynkova díla Pavla Chalupy. Vedle grafik, vytištěných v měřítku 1:1, se na čtyřech stech stranách čtenář dozví i tajemství z receptáře grafikovy dílny, v níž se Reynek pohyboval jako autodidakt s neortodoxní lehkostí na pomezí kresby, grafiky a malby, a vytvořil tak unikátní barevné techniky, jež jsou v mnoha případech vlastně autentickými malbami na papíře.
