Fotografie boli umiestnené v ozdobnom kufríku z hrubých lepenkových dosiek potiahnutých červeným knihárskym plátnom, na ktorom je zlatým písmom plastickou razbou uvedený titul v maďarčine a nemčine: A Magas Tátrából / Die Hohe Tatra, Ung. Karpathenverein (Maďarský karpatský spolok). Kufrík obsahoval 30 fotografií. Mal rozmery: výška 26,0 cm, šírka 33,2 cm, hĺbka 4,5 cm Titulná stránka v dvoch jazykoch obsahuje názov albumu a meno autora fotografií. Tu sú tiež publikované početné ocenenia získané autorom fotografie na rôznych výstavách od roku 1869. Samozrejme, naše vydanie doznalo niekoľko zmien, daných nielen možnosťami súčasnej techniky, ale aj snahou umožniť širšej verejnosti mať v svojej knižnici doma nádherné Divaldovy fotografie. Vydanie v pôvodnej podobe v kufríkoch by bolo nákladné a v obmedzenom počte. Publikácia je teda v pevnej väzbe, pričom na obálke je obrázok pôvodného balenia fotografií. Originálna veľkosť fotografií je zachovaná a pridali sme aj popisky fotografií v slovenskom a anglickom jazyku. Zároveň uvádzame aj niekoľko životopisných dát o autorovi, Karolovi Divaldovi. ------------------------ Photographs from Karol Divald s estate are now owned by several galleries and museums in France, Hungary, Slovakia and Poland. The photographs published in this book were published in 1887 and provided to us by the Slovak National Gallery in Bratislava. The original photographs measuring 15.6 x 11.8 cm were pasted on cartons measuring 30.6 x 23.7 cm. Below each image is a description of the photograph in two languages – Hungarian and German together with the reserved reproduction right and the name of the photographer. The photographs were placed in a decorative case made of thick cardboard plates covered with red book cloth, on which the title in Hungarian and German is engraved in gold lettering: A Magas Tátrából / Die Hohe Tatra, Ung. Karpathenverein (Hungarian Carpathian Association). The case contained 30 photographs. Its dimensions were: height 26.0 cm, width 33.2 cm, depth 4.5 cm The title page in two languages contains the title of the album and the name of the author of the photographs. Numerous awards won by the author of photography at various exhibitions since 1869 are also published here. Of course, our edition has undergone several changes, due not only to the possibilities of current technology, but also to the effort to allow the general public to have Divald s beautiful photographs in their library at home. An issue in its original form in cases would be expensive and limited in number. The publication is therefore in hardcover, while the cover contains a picture of the original package of photographs. The original size of the photos has been preserved and we have also added photo captions in Slovak and English. At the same time, we present here some biographical data about the author, Karol Divald.
