Fotografie publikované v tejto knihe boli vydané v roku 1887 a poskytla nám ich Slovenská národná galéria Bratislava. Originálne fotografie s rozmerom 15,6 x 11,8 cm boli nalepené na kartónoch o veľkosti 30,6 x 23,7 cm. Pod každým obrázkom je opis fotografie uvedený v dvoch jazykoch – maďarčine a nemčine a vyhradené právo na rozmnožovanie a meno fotografa. Fotografie boli umiestnené v ozdobnom kufríku z hrubých lepenkových dosiek potiahnutých červeným knihárskym plátnom, na ktorom je zlatým písmom plastickou razbou uvedený titul v maďarčine a nemčine: A Magas Tátrából / Die Hohe Tatra, Ung. Karpathenverein (Maďarský karpatský spolok). Kufrík obsahoval 30 fotografií.
