Autoři a zároveň hlavní postavy příběhu použili formu grafického románu - komiksu. Autoři využili faktu, že popisovaná událost byla prvotně zachycena autentickou kamerou, která dala vznik úspěšnému dokumentu Blues by the Beach a zároveň informací z následného vyšetřování celé události, které pomohlo objasnit příčinu nesmyslného teroristického aktu. Jeden z autorů je nezávislým newyorským filmařem a producentem, druhý je filmovým dokumentaristou a kameramanem. Ve spojení s uznávaným ilustrátorem a karikaturistou tím vzniklo dílo na pomezí filmu a komiksu s hlubokým příběhem. V těsném závěsu po své americké premiéře vychází v českém překladu komiks Mike s Place, který popisuje příběh stejnojmenného baru. Mike s Place v Tel Avivu byl známý jako oáza živé muziky a multikulturní přátelské atmosféry, k byl spáchán teroristický útok, který za sebou zanechal tři mrtvé a padesát zraněných. Shodou okolností zrovna v té době o baru natáčeli dokument Američan Jack Baxter a izraelský absolvent pražské FAMU Joshua Faudem. Kamera tak zachytila dny předcházející útoku, samotnou tragickou událost i týdny poté, kdy celý tým Mike s Place čelí traumatu upevněným odhodláním vybudovat místo unikátní svým přátelským prostředím.
