Ilustrované vydání jednoho z nejoriginálnějších a nejzábavnějších románů 19. století, který nemá v dějinách literatury obdoby, v kongeniálním překladu Hanuše Karlacha a s ilustracemi Michaila Gavričkova. Hoffmannovy Životní názory kocoura Moura, považované za vrchol autorovy tvorby a stěžejní opus pozdní německé romantiky, spatřily světlo světa již před dvěma sty lety, ale plného uznání, ocenění, ba nadšeného přijetí se dočkaly až ve 20. století. E. T. A. Hoffmann totiž předběhl svou dobu a stvořil dílo, které je svou formou a důmyslnou kompozicí vskutku ojedinělé: sám Hoffmann v něm vystupuje jako vydavatel, jenž vyhověl přání svého přítele a rozhodl se knižně vydat memoáry jistého „mladého autora skvělého nadání“, jímž je ve skutečnosti kocour, který si říká Mour. Záhy se ovšem ukáže, že učený kocour do svého rukopisu omylem zamíchal stránky z jiného textu, který objevil u svého pána, a sice z knihy pojednávající o životě geniálního skladatele a kapelníka Johanna Kreislera. Tyto stránky, které kocour používal dílem jako podložku, dílem jako piják, byly nedopatřením rovněž vytištěny, a tak se ve výsledné podobě díla jakoby omylem prolínají dvě nezávislé dějové linie – satiricky vyznívající autobiografie poněkud samolibého kocoura-literáta a tajuplný příběh, přesněji řečeno fragmenty příběhu, výstředního romantického hrdi¬ny-umělce Johanna Kreislera vystaveného všemožným protivenstvím. Životní názory kocoura Moura jsou tedy polyfonním dílem, svou výstavbou připomínajícím princip hudebního kontrapunktu. Zdánlivě nesouvisející příběhy se totiž ve skutečnosti doplňují, prostupují, jeden v druhém se zrcadlí a vzájemně osvětlují. Právě prolínání obou příběhů činí z četby tohoto „dvojrománu“ nevšední čtenářský požitek. Řečeno slovy překladatele Hanuše Karlacha: „Tyto posuny, zrcadlení, přeskoky jsou zdrojem humoru, který má mnoho poloh, od laskavé úsměvnosti přes ironickou jízlivost až k satirické hořkosti; který však, a to je pro nás podstatné, se realizuje až ve čtenářově mysli, čtenářovou imaginací, která teprve dotváří dílo v komplementární celek a se kterou spisovatel zcela záměrně takto počítá. Tím vším je román nejen výsostným literárním dokladem doby, ale i rukavicí pravé modernosti hozenou přes průrvu času literárním tvůrcům soudobého světa, podnětem k zamyšlení, jaké že to dnes prvky činí literaturu vpravdě uměním.“

Osmdesát velkých českých country hitů! Osmdesát hitů Mirka Hoffmanna zahrnuje tituly, které on sám nazpíval se skupinami White Stars, Greenhorns a Zelenáči. Hudební bilance legendy české country - Mirka Hoffmanna. Osmdesáté narozeniny tohoto zpěváka, textaře a skladatele jsou příležitostí pro vydání výběrového čtyřalba, které lze s nadsázkou označit za kroniku české country uplynulých čtyřiceti let. Mirek Hoffmann patří k zakladatelům tohoto žánru u nás. Od roku 1970 působil ve skupině Greenhorns/Zelenáči a společně s Michalem Tučným, Tomášem Linkou, Janem Vyčítalem a dalšími spoluurčoval vývoj domácí "western music". Ceněn je zejména jako autor zásadních českých country textů - Divnej smích, Vůz do Tennessee, Tom Dooley, Dívka s vlasem medovým, Hej Joe, Žlutá kytka. Hoffmann se v roce 1969 podílel na legendárním albu Písně amerického západu. Šlo o vůbec první dlouhohrající (LP) gramofonovou desku v žánru country hudby, zpívanou v českém jazyce a interpretovanou předními českými soubory Zelenáči (Greenhorns), White Stars a Spirituál kvintet. Dodnes je uvedený projekt považován za perlu ve svém žánru a po čtyřiceti letech se dočkal i albového pokračování. Ještě v roce 1970 se Mirek Hoffmann stal členem skupiny Greenhorns, přejmenované později na Zelenáče. S tímto souborem je pak spjata jeho více než čtyřicetiletá hudební kariéra. Prosadil se především jako textař, ale i jako zpěvák a skladatel. Od devadesátých let vydával se skupinou Zelenáči (původně Noví Zelenáči) řadu alb s podtitulem "Příběhy". Proč obdařil geniálním nadáním primitivního, sebestředného mladíka a oddanému Salieriemu nechal nahlédnout vlastní průměrnost?Na tuhle krutou nespravedlnost se rozhodne dvorní skladatel odpovědět bojem. Nikoli s Mozartem, ale se samotným Bohem. Tím, že zničí jeho miláčka, Amadea. Ale ani Wolfgangův společenský úpadek, ani jeho nemoc a smrt, jež Salieri připisuje své nevraživosti a svým intrikám, nemohou zničit Mozartovu věčnou hudbu ani zabránit, aby právě ona dávala lidem znovu a znovu pocítit dotyk nebe. Přestože ve skutečnosti byl vztah obou skladatelů korektní či dokonce přátelský, drama Petera Shaffera a později především oscarový film Miloše Formana učinily z Mozarta a Salieriho symboly božského talentu a těžkopádné snaživosti, jejichž střet právě jedinečná hudba povyšuje z přízemní nevraživosti na boj o přízeň Nejvyššího. Nejen dramatický, ale právě i hudební potenciál díla byl impulsem k rozhlasovému zpracování. Inscenace vychází ze Shafferova textu v překladu Martina Hilského.
