Narodil se v roce 1900 v Lyonu a již od dětství byl fascinován světem letadel. Jako pilot byl zaměstnán u vícero leteckých společností a létal na různých linkách. Své zážitky a zkušenosti přetavil do několika poutavých literárních děl. Po začátku 2. světové války nastoupil do vojenské služby v hodnosti kapitána na letišti v Toulouse. Podle svědků byl jedním z nejodvážnějších. Tragicky zahynul v červenci 1944 během letu z Korsiky, trosky letadla byly nalezeny v roce 2000 ve Středozemním moři poblíž Marseille. Jindra Eliáš (*1950 v Brně) je známý moderátor a první moravský diskžokej, brněnský fanoušek a patriot. Původně se chtěl stát právníkem, ale cestu k tomuto vzdělání ukončila účast na demonstracích proti vpádu vojsk Varšavské smlouvy v roce 1968. Na základě udání strávil osm týdnů v bohunické věznici, po sedmi soudních procesech odešel s podmíněným trestem a právnická fakulta mu doporučila požádat o ukončení studia. Pro Jindru to znamenalo konec vysněné profese, ale nikoliv dobrodružné budoucnosti. Šťastným řízením osudu se stal oficiálním konferenciérem a diskžokejem. Čtyřicet let trávil ve společnosti gramofonových desek, které pouštěl k poslechu i tanci a doprovázel svými originálními komentáři. V legendárním klubu na Šelepce vymyslel a moderoval úspěšné Oldies party, které získaly titul Zlatý MAX jakožto nejlepší diskotéka v České republice. Tuto netradiční hitparádu přivedl Jindra Eliáš i na rozhlasové vlny, kde také v roce 2010 začal vysílat v Českém rozhlase Brno pořad Starobrněnské kolo. Od roku 2015 je jedním z moderátorů Nočního proudu Českého rozhlasu Dvojka. Byl kamarádem legendárního Franty Kocourka, je znalcem brněnského hantecu a objevil se jako autor a interpret na dvou CD písniček a humoru v brněnské hantýrce HANTEC I a II. Převyprávění Malého prince do brněnského hantecu se ujal s velkou pokorou k originálnímu textu i autorovi. Sám tvrdí, že to byl jeden z nejtěžších, ale krásných úkolů v jeho kariéře. Zdeněk Junák Zdeněk Junák je známý herec, dabér a rozhlasový moderátor. Vystudoval JAMU a je členem Městského divadla Brno, kde ho diváci mohli vidět ve hrách Sluha dvou pánů, Přelet nad kukaččím hnízdem, Čekání na Godota, Racek, Kočka na rozpálené plechové střeše, Jméno růže, Bouře, Strýček Váňa, Mrtvé duše a v mnohých dalších. Za roli Arama Beera v Koločavě byl nominován na Cenu Thálie. Televizním divákům je známý ze seriálu Četnické humoresky nebo Vinaři. Můžete si ho také poslechnout na Českém rozhlase Brno v pořadech Srdcovky Zdeňka Junáka a Víkendové Srdcovky Zdeňka Junáka, které moderuje.

Malý princ byl převeden do hantecu na popud Martiny Dlabajové, sběratelky knižních vydání Malého prince. Její sbírka čítá v současnosti přes 240 knih, včetně francouzského vydání z roku 1943. K překladu do brněnského hantecu ji inspirovalo vydání v italském dialektu z regionu Friuli, kde řadu let žila a podnikala.
