Takéto potešenie z čítania je naozaj skvelý zážitok! Martin ju dokonca opisoval novonaučenou čínskou frázou – yi lao mai lao – „Čímje človek starší, tým radšej rozdáva druhým rady“. Postupne však, čím viac sa deti s tetou Letnou spoznali, tým viac sa mali radi. V texte sa objavilo niekoľko veľmi pekných scén, ako sa deti s tetou Letnou zbližovali. Sedeli pod mesačným svitom a rozprávali sa o detstve tety Letnej, deti išli k tete Letnej na návštevu a ochutnali jej mandarínkový koláč, spoločne dokončili Martinovu domácu úlohu. Postupne rástlo priateľstvo medzi deťmi a tetou Letnou. Martin začal sám od seba na ňu myslieť, ba vymyslel aj plán pomoci tete Letnej. Smiala som sa, keď som čítala o ich výmene denníkov.Teta Letná bola vlastne stále prítomná v živote detí. Dvakrát im tajne pomohla, aby sa Martinovi a Maši splnili sny.Koniec príbehu je plný prekvapenia. Kto by si bol pomyslel, že teta Letná mala toľko neobyčajných životných skúseností a zážitkov? Hovorí sa, že každý starý človek nosí v sebe kúsok histórie. A presne tak to aj je. Detský jazyk textu vyvoláva v čitateľovi úsmev, ale vzťah k starším ľuďom stojí za hlboké zamyslenie.Láskavosť medzi ľuďmi je nad zlato. Nezáleží na tom,či ide o láskavosť voči rodine, priateľom alebo cudzím. Kniha Martin, Maša a teta Letná je magická, vyvoláva nielen úsmev na tvári, ale aj zohrieva srdce.
