Od té doby napsal několik knih beletrie, naučné literatury a především knížek pro děti, u nichž nadšení čtenáři s potěšením trnou hrůzou a strachem. Do češtiny byly přeloženy jeho knihy Pan Krátur (2010), inspirovaný slavným Frankensteinem Mary Shelleyové, Příšerné příběhy z temného tunelu (2009), Příšerné příběhy z Černé lodi (2010) a Příšerné příběhy vánoční (2012), které byly v našem vydavatelství natočeny také jako audiokniha. Jan Vondráček (1966) Po studiu na katedře alternativního a loutkového divadla DAMU se stal členem nově vzniklého Dejvického divadla. Odtud odešel spolu s dalšími kolegy do souboru Divadla v Dlouhé.
