V rozvrhu Spisů Jiřího Weila proto publicistiku nevydělujeme do samostatné "divize", která následuje za pracemi beletristickými, jak to můžeme vidět na uspořádání celkových řad většiny spisovatelových vrstevníků (bratři Čapkové, Nezval, Poláček, Seifert, Weiner), ale tři knihy statí rozmisťujeme v číslování SJW mezi svazky beletristické, jako č. 1, 3 a 8 (podobně, jako to rozvrhli pořadatelé nedokončených spisů Neumannových z let 1962-1984).
