Středočeská panství pak prodal svému spojenci, Karlu I. knížeti z Liechtensteina. Knížecí rod pak středočeská panství dále rozšiřoval (přikoupil např. Kounice, Roztoky u Prahy, Zahrádky) a vlastnil je až do první pozemkové reformy. Dceři knížete Jana Adama I., zakladatele Lichtenštejnského knížectví, Marii Terezii Felicitas, provdané vévodkyni de Savoy-Carignano, vděčí Černokostelecko (ale i Vídeň) za mnoho charitativních projektů a staveb (kostely, chudobince).
