Mimořádný umělecký projekt spojující světy tónů a barev Nápad na album The Magical Gallery, obsahující skladby inspirované mistrovskými díly světového malířství, nosil skladatel a producent Darek Král v hlavě spoustu let. Postrádal však to hlavní - hlas, který by dokázal v nahrávce vykreslit vše potřebné. I přes zdánlivou protichůdnost mu přišla nejvhodnější a nejpřirozenější kombinace operního hlasu a elektronické hudby. Dagmar Pecková byla celému projektu velmi nakloněná. Lákavá pro ni byla i myšlenka, že bude mít v repertoáru původní hudbu, skladby napsané výhradně pro ni.
