Fotografická publikace s barevnými snímky ze všech koutů světa od fotografa Jana Halašky (narozen v roce 1956 v Praze, od roku 1979 žije ve Woodstocku v USA) je ukázkou pestré plejády nejrůznějších obrazových postřehů a zážitků z fotografových četných cest po celé zeměkouli. Snímky na jednotlivých dvoustranách spolu vždy nějak souvisejí, jsou si námětově podobné, byť každý odjinud: někdy je to "jen" překvapivé, často i úsměvné, vždy působivé. Jan Halaška už přes dvacet let spolupracuje s fotoagenturami v New Yorku, Tokiu a po Evropě. Své "fotografické výlety" podniká stále, léto však pravidelně tráví v rodných Čechách.
