Říká, že muslimové, křesťané i židé jsou všichni členy jedné Abrahámovy rodiny, a současně jsou to nepřátelé na život a na smrt, které je třeba si podrobit. Bez znalosti islámské doktríny ke křesťanům a židům nelze pochopit džihád vůči Izraeli.

Kniha Umění a emancipace je v českém prostředí prvním uceleným pokusem vyrovnat se s odkazem významného polského intelektuála, jehož myšlenky zůstávají podnětné nejen na poli dějin moderního a současného umění. Piotr Piotrowski (1952-2015) se stal celosvětově uznávaným teoretikem díky své koncepci horizontálních - tedy nehierarchicky pojatých - dějin umění, inspirovaných marxistickou a feministickou tradicí. Předkládaný výbor obsahuje texty z let 1998 až 2013; jde jak o samostatně publikované studie, tak o kapitoly z několika Piotrowského knih. Autor v nich tematizuje mocenské, zejména geopolitické vztahy, v nichž umění vzniká a v nichž se píší i jeho dějiny.
