Zpřístupnění textu Weilovy disertace tak umožňuje z nové perspektivy vnímat i Weilovo beletristické dílo. Zároveň některé poznatky a úvahy, jež se staly součástí disertace, Weil uplatnil ještě před jejím sepsáním v přehledových studiích o ruské literatuře, jež byly zveřejňovány v periodikách a jež jsou součástí svazků Spisů 1, 3 a 8.
