Kniha by ve skutečnosti mohla některým rodičům otevřít oči, její poselství je totiž jasné: mluvte spolu, nezabývejte se jen sami sebou a myslete na děti. Spisovatelka je známou norskou autorkou obrázkových knížek. Její knihy pojednávají o nepříliš pozitivních dětských emocích a o tom, jak se s nimi vypořádat. Ilustrace vytvořila spisovatelčina dcera.
