Ak si knihu prečítajú praktickí lekári, ktorí sú v primárnom priamom kontakte s pacientmi, určite si uvedomia, že odporúčania distribútorov liekov, ako aj obsah príbalových letákov, treba brať s určitou rezervou. Aj v agentúrach kontrolujúcich a schvaľujúcich lieky pracujú iba ľudia, z ktorých niektorí sú pod priamym vplyvom farmaceutických firiem, či dokonca vlastnia ich akcie. O tom všetkom sa však najlepšie presvedčí sám čitateľ, ak sa zahĺbi do obsahu knihy a vydrží ju čítať aj napriek množstvu negatívnych emócií, ktoré sa ho zmocnia. Bol to aj jeden z cieľov autora, ktorý chce takouto formou vážneho varovania zachrániť desiatky či stovky životov ľudí, ktorí berú lieky, hoci ich často nepotrebujú. Je na čitateľovi, aký postoj zaujme k všetkým uvádzaným faktom.
