J. A. Rimbaud (narodil sa 20. októbra 1854 v Charleville a zomrel 10. novembra 1891 v Marseille) je zázračným dieťaťom francúzskej aj svetovej modernej poézie. Podstatnú časť svojho diela, vrátane erbovej básne Opitá loď, vytvoril ešte skôr než dovŕšil sedemnásty rok. Vo svojej poetike nadradil nad zneužiteľnú ideu a falošnú morálku neomylné zmysly a slobodnú imagináciu. Týmto gestom narušil pokoj všetkých, za rôznymi ideológiami sa skrývajúcich priemerných básnikov. Naň nadväzujúci rozšírený výber V šestnástich rokoch muž (podľa jazykovej interpretácie a v spolupráci s Annou Lara verše preložil a doslov, kalendárium a poznámky napísal Ľubomír Feldek) vychádza, aby na našom knižnom trhu aj v lektúre súčasnej mladej generácie zaplnil zbytočne dlho zívajúcu medzeru.
