Román Vegetariánka je její první próza, která byla přeložena do angličtiny, díky čemuž se autorka proslavila v mezinárodním kontextu – román získal prestižní ocenění Man Booker Prize 2016. Martina Krátká (1984) V dětství byla členkou dětského studia v Divadle Husa na Provázku, na JAMU nejdříve studovala klaunskou scénickou a filmovou tvorbu a po třech letech nastoupila na činoherní herectví. Po studiu nastoupila do Divadla Husa na Provázku a od roku 2011 je členkou hereckého souboru Švandova divadla, kde ztvárnila řadu rolí a čím dál více se prosazuje i jako režisérka. V roce 2008 si zahrála ve filmu Nestyda podle povídek Michala Viewegha a objevila se v nejnovějším pokračování série Dušana Kleina Jak básníci čekají na zázrak (2016). Televizní diváci ji mohou znát ze seriálu Místo zločinu Plzeň (2015). Zdeňka Žádníková Volencová (1974) Ještě během studia alternativního a loutkového divadla na pražské DAMU přešla v roce 1996 se svým absolventským ročníkem do angažmá v Dejvickém divadle. Od té doby zde ztvárnila řadu rolí, např. v představeních Příběhy obyčejného šílenství, Bratři Karamazovi, Kouzelná flétna nebo Revizor. Objevila se v několika televizních pohádkách, ale proslavila ji zejména role v seriálu Rodinná pouta (později Velmi křehké vztahy). Zahrála si také ve filmech americké produkce Deník Anne Frankové (2001) a Melting Glass (2000). Marek Holý (1979) Český herec a dabér vystudoval brněnskou konzervatoř. Před studiem JAMU dal přednost angažmá v Národním divadle moravskoslezském v Ostravě. Jeho cesta pokračovala do Prahy, kde působil několik let v Divadle Na Fidlovačce. Od roku 2013 je členem hereckého souboru Divadla na Vinohradech. Je držitelem Ceny Thálie 2013 v oboru opereta/muzikál za titulní roli v muzikálu Zorro v Divadle Hybernia. Ztvárnil roli strážmistra Hynka Polívky v seriálu Četníci z Luhačovic (2017) a dále se objevil i v seriálech Labyrint, Modrý kód, Trapný padesátky či Specialisté. Umístil se také na 3. místě 19. ročníku ankety Neviditelný herec, která oceňuje práci pro rozhlas.
