Jako skladatel se Steve Harris z Iron Maiden může směle srovnávat s mistry jako Jimmy Page nebo Tony Iommi. Dokazuje to i na druhé desce skupiny British Lion, kterému vdechl život v roce 2012. Tehdy šlo ještě o jednorázový a de facto Harrisův sólový projekt. Album The Burning je k dispozici na CD a 2LP. Boční projekt Stevea Harrise, baskytaristy a ústředního skladatele heavy metalové legendy Iron Maiden. V roce 2012 vydal Harris pod vlastním jménem hard rockové album nazvané British Lion, na kterém participovala parta o generaci mladších hudebníků.
