Vasil Fridrich po absolvování DAMU získal angažmá ve Švandově divadle, v letech 2002–2005 působil ve Středočeském divadle Kladno. Po dvanácti letech angažmá v Městských divadlech pražských (ABC a ROKOKO) odešel v roce 2017 na volnou nohu. Na Dvojce Českého rozhlasu moderuje talkshow Noční Mikrofórum a věnuje se také práci na poli rozhlasové činohry či natáčení audioknih. Zahrál si například ve dvoudílném televizním filmu Metanol nebo ve snímcích Hodinový manžel, Teorie tygra či v seriálech Specialisté nebo Ulice.
