Protože jak to u Kartellu bývá zvykem, i jídelní židle Masters se zrodila z plastu, konkrétně recyklovaného termoplastického polymeru – jen byla na závěr opatřena speciální povrchovou úpravou, která při dotyku dokonale mate smysly a vyvolává pocit sametové hebkosti. Není se co divit, že si z ní sedli na zadek i porotci Good Design Award, kteří jídelní židli Masters hned v roce 2010 udělili prestižní ocenění. A v roce 2013 k němu přibylo i ocenění Gold Dot Award.
