Jeho Arzach znamenal celosvětově malou… nebo spíš větší revoluci v nahlížení na toto médium. Moebiův nezaměnitelný výtvarný styl zná český čtenář nejen z tohoto díla, ale i z jeho spoluprací s Jodorowským. Moebius se ale výrazně podepsal i na výtvarné podobě řady filmových hitů, třeba Vetřelec, Tron, Pátý element nebo Hlubina. Ovlivnil nespočet komiksových tvůrců včetně řady těch českých.
