Dramatická historie spjatá s prstenem temné Moci by asi nebyla tak účinná, kdyby se neodehrávala ve světě s vlastní historií, osídleném mnoha národy s vlastními jazyky, s osobitým viděním světa, a především vlastními příběhy.
