Almost one year after the 13th edition of the Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space, a publication has been released dedicated to the SharedSpace: Music Weather Politics project with a particular look at the latest PQ exhibition. Each of the essays, written by foremost professionals in the field of scenography, such as Irena Šentevska, Peter Crawley, Vojtěch Poláček, Rachel Hann, Sodja Lotker, Joslin McKinney, Sigrid Merx and others, presents a highly particular and personal "take” on the highly diverse constellations of PQ 2015 events. At the same time the book defines some of its key concerns, innovative approaches, questions, and challenges as well as the nature and considerations of scenography and theatre in the present moment.

The book deals with the research process and the role of the dramaturg in original non-interpretive theatre and consists of two parts. The Interviews chapter focuses on the creative process with an emphasis on the method of "devising" (collective authoring). In it, Synne Behrndt combines interviews with artists and theoretical perspectives to gather arguments for the claim that devising and performance are themselves research, and discusses the role of the dramaturg in this process. Sodja Zupanc Lotker's text describes theatre projects ranging from contemporary dance to drama to site-specific, audio projects, performative perfumes and performance auctions. These often begin with a theme, a question or an experience. He sees dramaturgy in this process as a dynamic process in which the project emerges to the audience. The performance is a kind of projection screen, offered to the audience for collaborative reflection, endless, constantly bringing new stimuli, new experiences.
