Album Snadné klavírní skladby a tance zahrnuje časové období let 1919 až 1937.Poprvé tiskem vychází cyklus pro klavír o čtyřech částech Čtvrtky a osminky s podtitulem instruktivní cvičení se střídavými takty. Martinů jej napsal v Paříži v roce 1937, dlouho však byl považován za ztracený, vědělo se o něm pouze ze skladatelovy korespondence. Teprve v roce 2011 byl v Brně nalezen opis cyklu, v jehož všech částech jsou osminové noty nejmenší rytmickou hodnotou. Poprvé je v našem novém albu zpřístupněna také jazzová skladba One-step z roku 1921, která dosud existovala pouze v rukopise. Předkládaná kniha po delší době znovu představuje sběratelskou práci a vypravěčské umění Bohumíra Štégera (1908–1985). Některé z jeho pověstí a pohádek již byly publikovány několikrát, jiné však naopak vůbec. Snahou tohoto vydání je uspořádat Štégerovo dílo a vydat zvlášť pověsti o hradech a zámcích, zvlášť pověsti a pohádky ze Sudet vč. prací místopisně neurčených a Pověsti a pohádky z Hané a Záhoří, které Vám právě představujeme. Jejich velká část byla publikována jen jednou, a to právě před 60 lety. Myslíme tedy, že nastal čas pustit květnaté dílo pana Štégera mezi děti i dospělé. Pro některé povídky to bude premiéra, cestu jim jistě usnadní půvabné ilustrace mladé kreslířky Pavly Baštanové. Bohumír Štéger pracoval desítky let jako finanční úředník, v 50. letech byl inspektorem pro kulturu u Okresního národního výboru Kojetín. Poté byl zaměstnán na zámku v Tovačově – nejprve na pobočce přerovského muzea J. A. Komenského, později na odloučeném pracovišti Státního okresního archivu Přerov. Vrcholem jeho tvorby bylo literární zpracování desítek pověstí, především z Hané a Záhoří. V roce 1957 vyšly dvě knihy těchto povídek (Hanácké pohádky a pověsti, Pověsti o hradech a zámcích).
