Výber z básní Svetlo z diaľky obsahuje verše, ktoré transfigurujú skutočné veličiny každodenného života či už literárne/knižné, na diskurzívne, samostatne sa spravujúce veličiny, schopné vytvoriť si remodelácie extra muros (mimoosobné) určitého nadnáhodného časopriestoru. Básnik zvolil stratégiu zaznamenávania variácií svetla ako takého, čo je v značnej miere zriedkavosťou v rumunskej poézii. Verše sú originálne zvláštnymi pomenovaniami (lemury, hadojaštery,krotké zvieratá, koleoptéra, ale aj ulitníky, bodliaky, medvedíky záhradné), básnik vymýšľa ironicky groteskné scenáre o nezmyselnosti histórie a dáva do pozornosti opakujúce sa gestá všedného dňa na báze deskripcie a minimálnej sugescie. Zbierku z rumunčiny preložila Dagmar Mária Anoca a ilustroval Constantin Catargiu.

Náboženský šok je psychický, duchovní nebo existenciální otřes způsobený střetem s odlišným, neznámým či doposud neinteriorizovaným náboženstvím či religiózním kultem, který může zasáhnout jedince obvykle při rychlé změně kultur na cestách, ovšem může zasáhnout i sociální skupinu nebo dokonce celou kulturně-nábožensky vymezenou oblast často při větších migračních vlnách pramenících v odlišné kulturně-náboženské oblasti. V knize navrhujeme tři základní fáze a projevy náboženského šoku: 1. otřes, prožitek něčeho nečekaného, zvláštního, vzhledem k domácímu náboženství (nebo bezvěrectví) mimořádného, přičemž rozlišujeme pozitivní a negativní otřes; 2. okouzlení, tedy zakušení čehosi svůdného, lákavého, na první pohled „té správné duchovní cesty“, po němž následuje vystřízlivění a únik, nebo naopak vystřízlivění a racionální prohloubení zájmu; 3. znechucení, jinými slovy náboženský prožitek z pohledu šokovaného hloupý, absurdní, krutý, nechutný nebo kýčovitý. Mezi oběma inscenacemi není žádný podstatný rozdíl s výjimkou začátku: druhá inscenace začíná asi minutovou zvukovou kulisou probíhajícího zákroku na operačním sále. Pak už se v obou případech ocitáme na lékařském pokoji, kde se spolu oba muži vedou rozhovor točící se kolem sporného případu transplantace a etiky lékařského povolání.
