The first centuries AD were a time of intense cultural exchange (through diplomacy and trade) between the southern Caucasus and the eastern provinces of the Roman Empire. Traces of these relations include valuable artefacts, found in elite burials and deposits, which we can see today in the Batumi Archaeological Museum, among others. This is no coincidence, as local communities living on the Black Sea coast from Trebizond to the Caucasus had particularly close relations with the Romans. Síla města je ve sdíleném celku, nikoli pouze v osobním detailu a jednotlivostech. Kniha je souborem jedenácti rozhovorů, které autor vznikajícího Metropolitního plánu, renomovaný architekt Roman Koucký, poskytl médiím v průběhu posledních pěti let. "Soubor rozhovorů jsem se rozhodl vydat jako záznam proměny atmosféry, která zpracování Metropolitního plánu provázela," uvádí Roman Koucký v úvodu knihy. "Jsem přesvědčen, že se skrze otázky, které mi tazatelé pokládali, podařilo nejen vysvětlit základy Metropolitního plánu, ale také odvyprávět celý jeho příběh." V prvních rozhovorech je zaznamenána euforie a velká očekávání z probíhající transformace zastaralého Útvaru rozvoje města na moderní městský plánovací institut (IPR Praha) a následného "zlatého období" tvorby plánu. Postupné nekoncepční torpédování dokumentů IPR v dlouhé vleklé krizi, způsobené ztrátou politické podpory následně doprovázela vypjatě destruktivní podoba veřejné diskuse. Tato nekonstruktivní atmosféra vyústila v bezdůvodné odvolání ředitele IPR Petra Hlaváčka koncem roku 2016, které bylo následováno solidárním odchodem celého tvůrčího týmu z institutu. K uklidnění došlo po několika měsících, v návaznosti na opětovný nástup původního týmu, kdy Roman Koucký zvítězil ve výběrovém řízení a stal se podruhé vedoucím Kanceláře metropolitního plánu. Poslední rozhovory knihy mapují křehké východisko krize, hovoří o návratu a částečně i o budoucnosti.

Román fiktivního spisovatele Emila Rilkeho chápe divadelní hru v hudební terminologii jako román, kde tradiční postupy jako líčení, popis a charakteristika postav zůstaly coby šifra pod hudební osnovou řeči. Z románu tedy zbyla jen přímá řeč. Přikloní-li se čtenář k názoru, že tato kniha je opravdu román (jak tvrdí fiktivní autor), nebo jen kamufláž (jak tvrdí fiktivní editor), je na něm a na způsobu, jak chápe literaturu a jak k ní přistupuje. Neboť úhrnný text této knihy není ani román, ani divadelní hra, nýbrž synkretický text, jenž v ironickém stylu usiluje o postmoderní výpověď o naší současnosti. Text doprovází množství působivých ilustrací Jiřího Pikouse, které umocňují význam autorského sdělení.
