Autoři se vedle práce s barvou při kompozičním řešení fotografií zabývají i problémy s expozicí: řada fotografů, zejména těch, kteří fotografují květiny a přírodu, se již setkala s problémem, jak nastavit expozici pro správné barevné a tonální podání snímků s jednou výrazně převládající barvou, kdy je potřeba výsledky měření fotoaparátu individuálně upravovat.
