Do třetího oddílu 1969-1989 autoři zase vstoupili ohlédnutím za přípravou znovuotevření fakulty. Nedílnou součástí Dějin Právnické fakulty MU v Brně je obrazová dokumentace. Lze ji rozdělit do tří částí. První část fotografií dokresluje výklad přímo v textu, druhou jsou portrétní fotografie a fotografie titulních stran základních děl, připojené k medailonkům jednotlivých učitelů, a konečně třetí tvoří tematicky uspořádané celky na konci celé publikace (portréty děkanů, budovy, insignie, vestibul a aula, razítka).
