Přátelství, které mezi námi vzniklo (a na jehož konci mě Miroslav Horníček požádal, abych jej oslovoval křestním jménem), bylo pro jeho zhoršující se zdravotní stav krutě krátké? Bylo mi velkou ctí. Setkání s Miroslavem Horníčkem se stala jedním z mých velkých životních zážitků! Ondřej Suchý. Miroslav Horníček (1918-2003) Miroslav Horníček byl ochotník a neměl žádné herecké vzdělání. Po maturitě se stal na přání otce úředníkem. Divadlu se věnoval už za studií v ochotnickém plzeňském studentském souboru.Jako profesionální herec a režisér prošel v Plzní i řadou Pražských divadelních scén. Celosvětově se proslavil jako konferenciér a průvodce projektu „Kinoautomat" na světové výstavě EXPO v Montrealu (1967) a v pražském kině Světozor (1971).
