V dubnu 2021 se ve vinohradském studiu poprvé sešli dva staří známí: předseda Kolegia Paměti národa Jan Dobrovský a novinář Jindřich Šídlo. Jejich společný podcast neměl zpočátku větší ambice než překlenout covidové období do chvíle, než se Paměť národa bude moci vrátit ke svým pravidelným besedám a přednáškám po celé zemi. Ohlas posluchačů ale překvapil. Od dubna 2021 vzniklo již více než 70 epizod, v nichž autoři na základě zkušeností z moderní politické historie popisují a hodnotí aktuální dění. Podcast Dobrovský&Šídlo byl dvakrát nominován na Křišťálovou lupu, v roce 2022 se umístil v kategorii podcastů na třetím místě.
