Murray dramaticky líčí, jak ideologie anti-rasismu pronikla do myšlení západní elity, jak ovlivňuje chod škol a institucí, pracovní zákony i veřejnou debatu. Padají sochy zakladatelů americké svobody a hrdinů občanské války. Absurdní obvinění bílé rasy z vrozeného nevyléčitelného rasismu ohrožuje legitimitu a soudržnost multietnického národa. Murray volá do boje: nedejme se zastrašit a pádně odpovězme na pomlouvání civilizace, jež dala světu katedrály a univerzity, úžasné umění, vědu, techniku a také lékařství a vyprostila z bídy dvě miliardy lidí! Pouze na Západě byla umožněna politická a individuální svoboda. V zájmu jejího udržení je třeba se vzepřít jejím totalitním likvidátorům - je třeba je porazit.
