Název Improvizace by neměl vést k nedorozumění - nejedná se tu o použití aleatoriky, která by interpretovi dovolovala v daném rámci určitou volnost provedení podle vlastní fantazie. Zde je naopak všechno přesně zapsáno; rozvíjení skladby má však působit dojmem volné improvizace.
