Dlouhodobě se věnuje podpoře vzdělávání mladých dívek a působí jako mírová ambasadorka organizace PeaceTree Vietnam, která pomáhá likvidovat nevybuchlé bomby ve Vietnamu. V současnosti žije střídavě v Kyrgyzstánu a ve Vietnamu. Je autorkou dvanácti knih básnických sbírek a kratší prózy, za něž se jí v rodné vlasti dostalo mnoha ocenění. Její díla byla přeložena a vydána ve více než dvanácti zemích. Její debutový román - a zároveň také první anglicky psaná kniha - Hory zpívají se dočkal vřelého čtenářského přijetí i několika literárních cen. V roce 2023 vydala druhou knihu Dítě prachu. Interpret: MgA. Michaela Danielová - vystudovala Janáčkovu akademii múzických umění, obor muzikálové herectví. Po absolutoriu nastoupila do Divadla Radost.
