FELIX FRANCIS je britský spisovatel a mladší syn Dicka Francise. Působil jako vysokoškolský učitel a ředitel přírodovědeckého ústavu a řadu let s otcem spolupracoval jako jeho manažer a poradce. Autorsky se podílel na čtyřech otcových románech a od roku 2011 pokračuje v tradici „francisovek“ sám. Žije v Oxfordshiru. DAVID MATÁSEK je český divadelní a filmový herec. Narodil se v Praze. Vystudoval Pražskou konzervatoř. V letech 1984 - 1991 byl na volné noze. V té době vystupoval např. jako Cassio v Othellovi ve Studiu Bouře. Od roku 1991 byl členem činohry Národního divadla. V roce 1995 nastoupil do Divadla Komedie, kde zaujal mj. jako Petruccio ve Zkrocení zlé ženy. Roku 2002 se vrátil zpět do činohry Národního divadla, kde působí dodnes. Spolupracuje s Divadlem v Řeznické, Divadlem Verze, Divadlem Palace atd. Ve filmu ho proslavila především role Kendyho ve filmech Dušana Kleina Jak svět přichází o básníky (1982), Jak básníci přicházejí o iluze (1984), Jak básníkům chutná život (1987), Konec básníků v Čechách (1993), Jak básníci neztraceji naději. (2003) a Jak básníci čekají na zázrak (2016). Z dalších filmů můžeme jmenovat např. Čekání na Patrika (1988) nebo Jedna ruka netleská (2003), Hodinový manžel (2014). Z televizní tvorby připomeňme například sérii tv filmů Případ pro rybáře (2013), Případ pro malíře (2015), Případ pro lyžaře (2016), dále tv seriály Přešlapy (2009 - 2010), či Polda (2016-2022). V posledních letech se věnuje také načítání audioknih.
