S vlastí i rodným jazykem zůstala ve spojení - česky vyšly její knihy Provence jako sen (2010), Lanýže (2011) a Pohlednice z kavárny (2015) - každá z nich jiným literárním jazykem odráží autorčino vnímání (jiho)francouzské reality, titul Prioritaire. Praha - Paříž (2013, spoluautorka Anne Delaflotte Mehdevi) zase pohled dvou žen-cizinek, z nichž každá žije v rodné zemi té druhé. Desetiletá Ema má mámu, tátu, sestry Betynu, Julu a bratříčka Jáchyma, mladou tetu a hodnou prababičku, která hodně pamatuje. Všichni spolu bydlí v jednom starém domě na předměstí. Ema má však také své starosti, přání a tajemství. V den svých narozenin dostane od kamarádek taštičky s dárky, díky nimž se její sny začnou uskutečňovat. Nebo se jí to všechno jen zdá? Kdyby byly autorky knihy Prababiččin klobouk jednou osobou, měly by celkem sedm dětí a dohromady by jim bylo sto osm let. Pravnoučat by se nikdo nedopočítal a ony by jim od rána do večera pekly štrúdly a vyprávěly příběhy. Jenže jsou dvě a je jim každé polovic. Mohou tedy upéct dvojnásobný počet štrúdlů a také společně tvořit knihy - jedna slovem, druhá obrazem. Ještě předtím, než se setkaly, však Kamila Míková (dnes Hantáková) vystudovala francouzštinu a češtinu a Magdalena Martinovská (dříve Sokolová) grafickou školu. Kamila pracovala jako nakladatelská redaktorka, psala fejetony nebo články o knihách. Magdalena navrhovala a graficky upravovala časopisy či kreslila. První kniha, kterou Kamila napsala a Magdalena vysázela a graficky rozvrhla, se jmenovala Useknutá ruka (1996) a byla určena dospělým, podobně jako mnohem pozdější třetí kniha Vosy, mravenci, mouchy (2017). V mezidobí se obě staly maminkami, ale psaní, knížky, písmena ani obrázky neopustily. V roce 2011 se sešly nad druhou společnou knihou - tentokrát pro děti a o dětech. A také od dětí, protože právě od nich se autorky inspirovaly.
