Křesťanství a islám jsou dvě velká světová náboženství, obě s více než miliardou následovníků. Přestože mají z praktického hlediska mnoho společného, zeje mezi nimi hluboká propast. Jedním z hlavních důvodů je nedostatek informací a vzájemného pochopení. Aby nám naše společné dědictví mohlo být ku prospěchu, musíme hledat možné cesty vzájemného sblížení. Obsahem této publikace není nic nového, jedná se pouze o shrnutí některých citátů z Bible, které dokládají tvrzení muslimů, že islám není novým náboženstvím s cizími zásadami a základním učením. Muslimové dnes následují učení všech Božích proroků (jak je najdeme v Bibli). Právě muslimové se nejvíce řídí učením Ježíše Krista (mír s ním) a zaslouží si tedy, aby se jim říkalo "praví následovníci Ježíše Krista". Islám je náboženstvím, které bychom mohli nazvat "biblickým", protože prvky islámské víry a praxe jsou v Bibli jasně patrné, a to jak v tzv. Starém, tak i v tzv. Novém zákoně. A právě to se snaží tato publikace objasnit.
