David Foster Wallace (1962-2008) patřil k nejoriginálnějším anglicky píšícím autorům přelomu tisíciletí. Proslul především románem Nekonečný žert z roku 1996. Prvním českým překladem byly Krátké rozhovory s odpornými muži, které Rubato vydalo v roce 2018.
