Hrají po různých klubech v Los Angeles, až upoutají pozornost producenta Paula Rotchilda. Rok 1967. Doors mají velký úspěch na koncertu v San Franciscu a dostávají se do populárního televizního pořadu Eda Sullivana, kde Morrison způsobí skandál, když odmítne cenzurovat jeden ze svých textů.
