Spát mu nedá ani podivný skon mladičkého českého krále Ladislava Pohrobka. Dále se dozvíme zaručenou pravdu o historickém hraběti Drakulovi, přiblížíme se pravému (americkou justicí utajovanému) vrahovi legendárního presidenta Abrahama Lincolna, zjistíme jak a proč byl zavražděn Napoleon a také se dáme unést dobrodružnou polemikou o tajemství Rasputina, "svatého" mága a carevnina milence. Vědělo se totiž, že v těchto kruzích mám vzhledem ke své dlouholeté hudebně-organizátorské činnosti mnoho přátel, s kterými se navzájem velmi dobře známe. Vzpomněl jsem si na dirigenta Libora Peška, který považoval za velmi potřebné, aby si příslušníci naší generace ještě více ujasnili, čím ve svých životech prošli a o čem nejvíc přemýšleli. Navíc tyto diskuse neměly být omezeny jen naším vztahem k hodnotné hudbě, ale měly by ukázat i širší obzory, k nimž jsme za těch pár desítek let našich životů dokázali dohlédnout.
