„Pozdravujem vás, lesy, hory…“Pavol Országh Hviezdoslav je jednou z najvýraznejších osobností slovenskej literatúry, ktorý sa aj napriek istej jazykovej náročnosti stal mýtom pre celé generácie čitateľov. Svoje umelecké meno si symbolicky „požičal“ od hviezd, čím naznačil svoj vysoký literárny zámer a duchovný rozmer tvorby.História nášho vydavateľstva je veľmi úzko spätá s jeho menom. Hviezdoslavova knižnica bola v minulom storočí najčítanejšou edíciou, v ktorej roku 1960 vyšla Hájnikova žena – lyricko-epická básnická skladba, v ktorej sa bohatstvo jazyka spája s napätím príbehu o láske, vine a odpustení. V centre stojí hájnik Michal Čajka, jeho oddaná Hanka a zemiansky syn Artuš Villáni.
