The 2D scanner withstands multiple falls from up to 1.8 meters and is protected against penetration of foreign bodies up to 1 mm. For consistent excellent performance, the scanner has the following interfaces: USB, a keyboard wedge (KBW), RS-232 and RS-485 with support for IBM 46XX. Another advantage: it is fully backwards compatible with the already existing Voyager accessories.
