55 let s nakladatelstvím Wolters Kluwer autor Václav Trojan sice ještě nespolupracuje, ale 55 textů už mu rozhodně odevzdal (navíc je to číslo jeho letošního životního jubilea). Většina textů publikace 55 úvah o českém školství aneb Mým kapitánům vznikala v průběhu osmi let a nyní máte možnost si je přečíst v ucelené publikaci s aktuálními komentáři. K autorovi již neodmyslitelně patří podobenství školy jako lodi plující na vzdálený ostrov pro vzácné koření, v němž ředitele škol často staví právě na kapitánský můstek. Články mnohdy odrážejí aktuální kontext svého vzniku, ale jejich obsah až s odstupem času ukazuje, jak bylo popisované téma nadčasové a umí zaujmout či provokovat i dnes. Kladný vztah autora ke kapitánům i ostatním námořníkům je více než patrný, stejně jako jeho snaha a zájem o to, aby lodi pluly v klidných vodách a nemusely se obávat nečekaných bouří. Přijměte tedy pozvání na palubu…
