Druhé vydání komentáře katastrálního zákona č. 256/2013 Sb. reflektuje všechny změny, k nimž v této oblasti právní úpravy došlo. Katastrální zákon byl novelizován celkem osmkrát, vždy v souvislosti s novelami souvisejících zákonů. Z nejdůležitějších změn lze např. uvést: S účinností od 1. 1. 2018 došlo ke změně definice pozemku na základě novely katastrálního zákona provedené zákonem č. 225/2017 Sb. (novela stavebního zákona). Ke dni 1. 7. 2016 nabyl účinnosti zákon o registru smluv (č. 340/2015 Sb.). Katastrální úřady tak od 1. 7. 2017 musí v rámci vkladového řízení u smluv, které podléhají uveřejnění prostřednictvím registru smluv, zjistit, zda smlouva předložená ke vkladu práva je účinná v návaznosti na uveřejnění v registru smluv. S účinností k 1. 7. 2017 došlo k zásadní změně právní úpravy v oblasti správního trestání v souvislosti s přijetím zákona č. 250/2016 Sb., o odpovědnosti za přestupky a řízení o nich, což vedlo k novelizaci odpovídajících ustanovení katastrálního zákona. S účinností od 24. 4. 2019 platí nová úprava práv a povinností při zpracování osobních údajů, a to základě zákona č. 110/2019 Sb., o zpracování osobních údajů (nahradil zákon č. 101/2000 Sb., o ochraně osobních údajů). Od 1. 1. 2018 se do katastru zapíše vzdání se předkupního práva spoluvlastníka, jde-li o nemovitou věc zapsanou do veřejného seznamu, a to jako poznámka. Předkupní právo spoluvlastníka bylo do občanského zákoníku vráceno novelou č. 460/2016 Sb. Dne 1. 4. 2017 také nabyla účinnosti novela katastrální vyhlášky (provedená vyhláškou č. 87/2017 Sb.). Komentář autoři doplnili bohatě zejména o relevantní judikaturu, která u vydání prvního byla uvedena pouze okrajově. Právní stav komentáře je k 1. 7. 2019.

Druhé, podstatně rozšířené vydání komentáře zákona o ochraně hospodářské soutěže reflektuje všechny změny, k nimž v oblasti právní úpravy ochrany hospodářské soutěže od vydání prvního došlo. Jde o změny vyplývající zejména ze zákona č. 293/2016 Sb., který např. zavedl podrobnější úpravu zjednodušeného řízení o povolení spojení soutěžitelů – v této souvislosti byl novelizován i prováděcí předpis týkající se návrhu na povolení spojení soutěžitelů (vyhláška č. 294/2016 Sb.); v oblasti dozoru nad orgány veřejné správy došlo k vyjasnění možného narušení soutěže orgánem veřejné správy, na který má tato úprava dopadat; byla zavedena možnost podání žaloby proti neohlášenému místnímu šetření či diskreční pravomoc ÚOHS při rozhodování o zákazu účasti na veřejných zakázkách (tzv. blacklisting) účastníkům kartelů ve výběrových řízeních. Stěžejním dále bylo přijetí zákona č. 262/2017 Sb., o náhradě škody v oblasti hospodářské soutěže, který vstoupil v účinnost k 1. 9. 2017. Jeho hlavním smyslem je zlepšit postavení osob, jež byly poškozeny omezováním hospodářské soutěže, a to konkrétně zneužitím dominantního postavení nebo nedovolenými dohodami soutěžitelů Právní úpravy se v neposlední řadě dotkl i nový přestupkový zákon (zákon č. 250/2016 Sb., o odpovědnosti za přestupky a řízení o nich). Autoři komentáře tedy reagují nejen na změny v oblasti právní úpravy, ale i na změny plynoucí z vývoje rozhodovací praxe ÚOHS, související judikatury soudů, ale podávají výklad i k příslušné úpravě unijního soutěžního práva. Byla zachována původní struktura komentáře, kdy komentář obsahuje komparativní poznámky ke slovenskému zákonu o ochrane hospodárskej súťaže. Právní stav je k 1. 1. 2019.
